Getting Here & Around

Visitors can get to Kissimmee from the Orlando International Airport, conveniently located just 20 miles away. Others may take advantage of an expansive road network linking Kissimmee with rest of Central Florida. Plus, an Amtrak station located in downtown Kissimmee offers yet another travel option.

GETTING AROUND
Find your way with brightly colored Guidemarkers along the West U.S. Highway 192 tourist corridor. Also note:

  • Osceola Parkway (Toll Road SR522) is a direct route to the Walt Disney WorldŽ Resort.
  • Free area maps and information are available at the Kissimmee Official Visitors Center, 1925 E. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, Kissimmee, Florida.
  • For car rentals, a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and a major credit card are required; call to confirm details, age restrictions, and reservations in advance.
Trains

An Amtrak station is located in downtown Kissimmee providing regular Amtrak passenger service to the area. See www.amtrak.com for schedules and reservations.

Automobiles

Driving here is easy, too! Major interstates-I-95, I-75, and I-10-provide access into Florida from the north, with connections directly into the area via I-4, Florida's Turnpike, and US Highway 192. Interstates 75 and 95 and Florida's Turnpike provide quick access from South Florida.

Directions to the Kissimmee Visitor Center:

Orlando International Airport to Kissimmee CVB/Visitor Center

Take the South exit out of the airport, merge onto the South Access Road and then merge onto Boggy Creek Road. Go three (3) lights, turn right (Boggy Creek Rd), continue on Boggy Creek Rd (name changes to Simpson Rd) to US Hwy 192 and turn right. Go one (1) light to Bill Beck Blvd. Turn right, then left into parking lot. The Visitor Center is in the northwest corner of Bill Beck Blvd. and US Hwy 192.

Sanford Airport to Kissimmee CVB

OPTION 1: Follow Lake Mary Blvd. out of the Airport to I-4 West. Take I-4 West to Florida's Turnpike exit (Exit 77). Take the Turnpike South to Kissimmee exit (Exit 244). Turn right onto US Hwy 192 and go two (2) lights to Bill Beck Blvd and turn right. The CVB is on the northwest corner of Bill Beck Blvd and US Hwy 192.

OPTION 2: From Sanford Airport travel on East Airport Blvd., heading west towards S.R. 417 South (Toll Road). Travel SR 417 till you come to Kissimmee exit (Exit 11). Go south on Orange Blossom Trail, turn left on US Hwy 192. Go east five (5) Lights to Bill Beck Blvd and turn left. CVB building is on the northwest corner of Bill Beck Blvd and US Hwy 192.

Orlando to Kissimmee CVB

Take I-4 West to Florida's Turnpike South to Kissimmee exit (Exit 244). Turn right onto Hwy 192. Go two (2) lights to Bill Beck Blvd and turn right. The CVB building is on the northwest corner of Bill Beck Blvd and US Hwy 192.

Turnpike North from Miami/South Florida Area

Take Florida's Turnpike North to Kissimmee exit (Exit 242). Turn left onto Hwy 192 go west approximately 3 miles to Bill Beck Blvd and turn right. The CVB building is on the northwest corner of Bill Beck Blvd and US Hwy 192.

I-95 North or South bound to Kissimmee CVB

Take Hwy US 192 West (Exit 180) through St. Cloud and into Kissimmee, continue on US Hwy 192 West to Bill Beck Blvd and turn right. The CVB Building is on the northwest corner of Bill Beck Blvd and US Hwy 192.

Tampa, Florida to Kissimmee CVB

OPTION 1: Take I-4 to first Kissimmee exit (Exit 58). Exit right onto Hwy. 532 go 4.5 miles to dead end. Turn left onto Hwy. 17/92 and go nine (9) miles. Turn right at East US Hwy 192 light. Go seven (7) lights and turn left onto Bill Beck Blvd. The CVB Building is on the northwest corner of Bill Beck Blvd and US Hwy 192.

OPTION 2: Take I-4 to Kissimmee exit (Exit 64A) and exit onto US Hwy 192. Go east approximately 13 miles to Bill Beck Blvd and turn left. The CVB building is on the northwest corner of Bill Beck Blvd and US Hwy 192.
