Fishing & Boating
Want to catch a lunker bass? There’s no better place in the world than the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes. Long renowned for record bass, the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes is being discovered by more and more fishermen. Whether using artificial lures or live bait, the area’s lakes produce more bass over ten pounds than any other lake in the world.
Lakes range in size from 200 acres to 44,000 acres, and a wide variety of fishing is available to anglers. Many of the smaller lakes have limited bass fishing opportunities but provide fishermen an option to escape crowded areas. In total, twenty public lakes are directly connected by canals that flow south to the Kissimmee River, providing more than 100,000 surface acres of water.
